Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the world's largest silver nugget was uncovered at Smuggler Mine in 1894 that weighed more than a ton. Visitors to the mine can venture 1,200 underneath the Earth's surface to experience a miner's daily tasks. Smuggler's Mine overlooks Aspen, three miles from Pandora on Imogene Road.
