Hostess Ajax changed our reservation from 7pm to 8pm no reason given compromised on 7:45 pm Why? Truth as stated by hostess on our departure we like to be out of here by 9pm on Tuesdays Meal Ordered- 2 bison burgers medium rare/medium Menu listed to be served on a foccacia bun w/buffalo mozzarella & greens Served (aside from the charred outside) raw, no cheese, on a regular hamburger bun hard (as hard a crouton), and potato chips! Sent back. Served 2nd time; raw with cold mozzarella on top! Much later 2nd meals arrived (were comped but time did nothing for taste) Ordered- elk loin with au gratin potatoes Served 5 thinly sliced pieces of elk loin (elk tasted fine but wasnt worth the nearly $30 on the menu), the au gratin potatoes, terrible and also raw Ordered- salmon with braised lentils Served cold salmon with burnt lentils AWFUL!!!!!!!

If you are skiing Aspen / Ajax, this is the "bottom of the slope" place to eat lunch. The food is good and must be accented with the incredible truffle fries. Movie stars are often sighted and the place is always buzzing at lunch. Go at 11:30 and beat the crowds.
